Joe started to drum as a young teenager and he very quickly joined different coverbands.
Joe later worked in a soundstudio and in a booking agency and for a short time was a DJ when Grunge was latest, best thing.
Joe started playing in bands and a variety of projects in 1987. He then began touring and recording in Germany, England and France.
After moving to Sweden he played in the band TIGERMOTH together with well known english bass player Simon Tufnail (ex LBIA & Cranes). He joined the band LUNG in Paris and toured Scottland in 2007.
At this time he also recorded demos in Berlin as a session musician and stood in as the drummer for gigs in Berlin venues such as LIDO.
He has recently been playing with THE RAZED, a power-trio in Sweden. After releasing an EP in 2011 THE RAZED recieved a lot of very positive feedback. The single "Panic Room" made it on to the sampler RIOT ON SUNSET 31, released by 272 RECORDS in Hollywood. The people in L.A. loved it so much that the band has been invited to play the legendary Whisky A-Go-Go Club, Sunset Boulevard twice! With 2 other singles the band made it in 2010 and 2011 into the final of "GPscen", which really helped to grow the fanbase.
In May 2013 THE RAZED released their debut album via Recordunion for digital distribution. The CD was released on Joe's own label, MUSICAL STEAM WORKS and is distributed by CD Baby.
Joe has done 3 small Clubtour with THE RAZED in the eastern part of Germany in June 2013, including playing the legandary "Ex 'n' Pop" in Berlin - just to mention one location (you might know that Bowie & Iggy Pop used to hang out there).
Other venues include the well known Sage Club, Blacklands & The Wild at Heart all of which have been rocked on tours before and have been sold out!
In 2014 Joe left THE RAZED in order to develop more as a drummer and a musician. He has concentrated on expanding his drumschool which today is still the fastest growing one on the West Coast of Sweden.
In 2015 he joined Swedish act THE REEHAB for a short time and played live openair with them, sharing stage with the swedish singer Lisa Miskovsky.
In 2015 Joe started a new project ICU with Rosie McClune who he met at a party given by the well known producer Pedro Ferreira. Three songs are almost recorded so far and will be released later this year - stay tuned
